Annie

Annie is growing up!

But 'Chickie' darn well refuses to let growing up deny her the spoils of chickiehood.

She is a near constant presence all over the house.

Mostly napping...

...on anything or anyone suitably comfy.

When she's not resting up, she can be found checking out Jock the Border Collie...

...and the ladies.

Both equally brave activities!

Annie has a rather unique (in my flock), way of sitting.
Rather than sitting on her feet, she rests on her legs, with her feet sticking out in front of her.

Like this:

When she lies down all is hidden...

...including the way she always clasps her feet together.

My little odd ball :)

  4. What a sweetie! Why would she want to give up her comforts for living out with the other girls! She knows when she has it good! She reminds me of Lulu stretching her neck so long to sleep. I hadn't seen another chicken do that before Lulu. And I love the pics of her feet! Lulu sits with her feet funny too! They must be related! Love your Annie to bits!

    1. Annie loves to stretch her neck out to sleep, especially if she can get it under my chin for a snuggle. I'm glad to her Annie isn't the only girl with seating differences. Love Lulu, wouldn't mind one bit if Annie grew up as lovely as her :) x
