There ain't nobody here but us chickens.

I looked out of the kitchen window and wondered why the girls were huddled together on just one chair.


What were they doing, and more importantly, what were they watching?  Whatever it was, they didn't look at all happy about it!

And then I remembered.


I'd arrived home and forced Mabel outside for a breath of fresh air.

Yup, she's one scary broody!
